There are millions of lip products circulating social media, but which ones are worth it? Some of the most popular products cost more than necessary, so I’m here to tell you what’s worth it.

I can’t go a day without seeing Summer Fridays “Lip Butter Balm” on my TikTok For You Page. I tried it for myself, and I do understand the hype. I have three shades: Vanilla, Pink Sugar, and Poppy. My personal favorite is Pink Sugar because it is the perfect shade of pink where it isn’t too strong, but it’s a little something. I love the formula of Summer Fridays because it’s not too sticky, but still looks nice and glossy. Is it worth the money? Yes, but I also think there are other products that are just as good quality and not $24.

Another popular company is Laneige. I have the “Lip Sleeping Mask” in both Berry and Peppermint. While the lip mask is a little expensive ($24), I think it’s great. It’s thick, glossy, and looks perfect on your lips. If you want a cheaper option, the “Lip Butter” in shade Strawberry from The Body Shop is a great choice. The formula is definitely different, but I like it just as much.

The e.l.f. “Glow Reviver Lip Oil” is worth every penny. First of all, it is much cheaper than other lip oils on the market ($9.00). My favorite color is “Pink Quartz” because it goes perfect over any color, but also looks good just on its own. The formula is not too sticky and looks super cute on.

The Tower 28 “ShineOn Lip Jelly” in shade Coconut is the perfect everyday shade. I want to try other colors in this lip gloss because I love it so much. I have a hard time finding the perfect shade since I’m so picky, but this is it. Also, it isn’t too expensive at the price point of $16.

Now, moving on to the products that are less talked about. The r.e.m. beauty “Lip Oil” is lovely. The applicator has a cooling sensation and the lip oil is not sticky. Some people don’t like how oily it is, but I think it’s the right consistency. It also leaves my lips feeling nice and hydrated. Any of the shades are great; my favorite is the Pickin Petals.

I saved the best two for last. The lip products from essence cosmetics are not talked about enough. The “JUICY BOMB Shiny Lipgloss” in shade Poppin’ Pomegranate 104 is, dare I say, the best lip product ever. First of all, the color is so perfect; it looks super pigmented in the tube, but it looks perfect on the lips. Also, the scent is a HEAVENLY pomegranate fragrance. I genuinely could not love a lip product more, and for the price of $2.99 is unheard of nowadays. I also love the “extreme shine lipgloss” in shade Summer Punch 02. This gloss has the perfect shine, is not too much color, and is only $3.99. I want to try more products by essence because they are so cheap, yet so good.

As a little bonus, I thought I would share the lip product I want to try next! Many people know the company Saltair from their amazing shower products, but they also have lip oil. Unfortunately, Target, which sells Saltair products, does not sell their lip products. However, I am debating ordering the balm because it’s only $9.00! It is called the “Conditioning Lip Oil” on the Saltair website.

Till next Sunday,

Daisy
