An episode of a good show is the best way to end the night, in my opinion. I always need a comfort show to watch at the end of a stressful day. I wanted to share a few of my favorite comfort shows.
First, the beloved “Gilmore Girls.” While the show does give a lot of fall vibes, it serves as a comfort show anytime of year. If you haven’t seen it yet, watch it!
At first I was skeptical of “Gossip Girl,”I didn’t think I would like it. However, now, it may be my favorite show of ALL TIME. The plot is so good and really keeps you hooked throughout all six seasons. The drama, the actors, the New York City backdrop, everything.
Currently I am watching “How I met Your Mother,” and it has quickly become my comfort show. The cast quickly feels like your best friends and it is the perfect show to get in bed and watch an episode of. It is a great balance of humor, realness, and romance. I am on season six out of nine, so still a little ways to go!
“Sex and The City” is such an iconic show. I found that I like it best as a background show. Whenever I clean my room, or work on some scrapbooking, this show is on immediately. I am a big fan of any movie or show set in the city, so of course this is a fav.
Sometimes what you need is a show you watched when you were younger to bring you a little joy. “Full House,” “H2O: Just Add Water,” and “Good Luck Charlie” are my go to’s. I swear I come back to life when I watch these. They are the type of shows I could rewatch a million times and never get sick of. If you haven’t watched any of them I definitely recommend checking them out.
I wanted to finish off by leaving you with three shows I want to watch next. The first is “The O.C.,” which I have seen all over TikTok. Many people say it’s their comfort show, so who knows maybe it will be added to my list soon! Next is “Beverly Hills, 90210.” Again, I have heard a lot about it and I can see myself enjoying it. Lastly, is “Dawson’s Creek.” A few of my family members have watched this and have said it was good so it is on my list.
Tell me other shows I should add to the list!
Till Next Sunday,
Daisy
