Over the past few weeks, as I have thought more about my future, I have realized how much I truly want to go into fashion. No matter what career I go into in the fashion industry, knowing fashion history is a must. Being knowledgeable on the history helps in understanding references, specific items, and the overall concepts that are consistently talked about.

My plan is to go in chronological order of decades so that way I will be able to see the flow of trends throughout history. Also, by splitting it into decades it won’t be as overwhelming. 

I want to read articles, find interesting books, and watch videos to teach myself in-depth about the styles that came before us.
