After months of what felt like constantly negative degrees, we have finally reached spring. However, the temperature does not magically jump to 70 degrees, so of course, we need some transitional pieces. If you need some advice, you have come to the right place.

  1. Long Sleeve Linen Top

Some people reserve linen for the summer, but personally, I am a huge fan of linens in the spring. Instead of wearing a linen tank, on the days where the temp is hanging in the 60s, I suggest a long sleeve linen option. I am in love with the “Frolic Free Top” from Free People and the “Benjie Long Sleeve Top” from Princess Polly.

  1. Ballet Flats with Cute Socks

You know I LOVE a good ballet flat, but rotating between solid colored shoes can be boring. So, I recommend adding fun floral socks underneath. It’s a perfect touch for the spring time because it keeps your feet warmer and adds a pop of springy color. The “Rosebud Waffle Knit Ankle Socks” from Free People are adorable. Pair them with a simple black pair like these from Zara, or a fun navy pair like these from Steve Madden.

  1. Anything Woven

I feel like a woven look screams spring. Anything made with raffia is the kind of look I’m imagining. Sam Edelman’s “Mackie Mary Jane Espadrille” shoes are a favorite of mine. Anthropologie also has the cutest woven bag called “The Love Knot Slouchy Bag”

  1. Denim with Lace

This combo can eat in any season, but in the spring, it thrives. Whether it’s simply jeans with a lace top, or a cute denim jacket with lace underneath, you can’t go wrong. “The Weston Denim Boyfriend Jacket by Pilcro” on Anthropologie’s website is a favorite, paired with the “Wrinkled Effect Camisole” from Zara is chef’s kiss.

  1. Three-Quarter Sleeve Tops

Lastly, but certainly not least, an iconic three-quarter sleeve top. A top like this is literally the in-between of a long sleeve and a short sleeve. Two of my favorites are the “Sanctuary Cotton Elle Bell-Sleeve Sweater” from Anthropologie and the “Ever Afternoon Layering Top” from Free People.

Till next Sunday,

Daisy
